Protest 2002 Grand Junction - Mesa County Colorado
This protest was regarding wrongful incarceration due to Victimless crimes.
We had many people come and thank us for what we were doing though we were without a grand following.
2 News Stations came to our rescue and broadcast the event for more people to become involved.
Mesa County had a very high incarceration rate concerning drug charges and I was not understanding their solution for solving this problem.
They believe locking everyone up is a solution. If making more money for Jails and Prisons is the overall goal then yes we the people should all be locked up and placed in Jail. Then all the Illegal immigrants can do what they want with our country. My main question is Why do we stick more money into our prisons then we do our own schools? Education over Incarceration is the key and I believe the time is now , we should open the windows.

I Jerod Hawk Do not believe Drugs are great for societies or the children that make up societies. I believe that 75% of the (legal) drugs we allow in our society have the same terrible impact on our children and parents of this country. So if we are able to give ridolin to our children because parents cannot take the time to raise their children then I see no reason why adults cannot make a decision based on their better education to decide for or against other drugs. So the obvious truth lies within the economics of the penal system. More upfront profit is made when an increase of citizens become part of the Just A System. (Justice System)
